The Anglican Counselling Service (ACS) is a caring arm of the Anglican Diocese of Armidale covering the New England and North West of NSW since 1986. It is recognized as a regional leader in the provision of quality, professional personal and family relationship services through counselling, community education, mediation and counselling training.


In its 21st year and at a time of growth and change, ACS seeks a professional and motivated leader to fill the position of:


Executive Director


Based in the regional City of Tamworth, the Executive Director will manage the operations and daily business of the Anglican Counselling Service and provide support to all ACS staff and offices throughout the region. They will also significantly contribute to the achievement of our organisation’s mission and goals as set by the Anglican Counselling Service Board.


We envisage the successful candidate will bring to the role proven business, budget preparation and administration skills as well as excellent communication (written and oral) and relationship building skills. In line with our organisation’s mission and values, the position will suit a committed, practising Christian professional with a transparent Christian faith to serve and manage ACS.
