Counselling Services

Most people manage their lives without needing to speak to a professional counsellor, however, sometimes the circumstances in which we find ourselves are greater than normal coping skills can manage.

At such times, counselling can be helpful, especially if you are feeling anxious, unfulfilled or unhappy. You may have tried coping with your problems on your own but have found it just too difficult. Counselling can help you develop the skills and strategies you need to make your life and/or relationships work. Counselling has one definite and clear purpose and that is to provide an opportunity for you to work towards living a more productive and satisfying life.

Our counsellors will not make judgements about the rights or wrongs of your situation. They will work with you, at your pace in a confidential accepting environment. They will listen and encourage you to talk openly and honestly about your concerns and help you to reach your own decisions about the best way forward. They can also help you to uncover underlying issues and address them.

As well as personal and relationship issues they can also assist with parenting, grief, conflict resolution, anger management and communication issues.
